It's been a week or so since my last post - here's a quick catch-up.
Oh, and it's my birthday.

Oh, and it's my birthday.

It felt like nothing I was waiting for from afar was arriving. As though there was a conspiracy in the post office where they would only bring me BILLS!
But it finally arrived...

Here it is - hot off the editing suite. My first film of 2006, may there be many more.
It's another productive Sunday in the Parkdale Gem. I wish you could smell how amazing my house smells right now. MMMmmm banana bread.
Well, still working towards a more regular update. Now I've set up my video camera so that I can record directly into the computer. This will save a lot of time.
This post is a bit rambling because it's one take - but the gist is that I'd love to help get more queer folk into videoblogging. Contact me or go to freevlog.org to learn more.
For some reason this movie was giving my quicktime export a hell of a time. I finally got it down to something reasonable (10mb) but it looks crappy...and it's late and I don't care right now. The point comes across just fine.

So this film I made
Well it's been a whirlwhind 3 weeks of two coasts and some fabulous adventures. This is just a little "hi" to those who watch. I'm re-doubling my efforts to vlog as often as I can - even with my hectic schedule. After talking with Jay, Ryan and JEn respectively I'm feeling very excited about what I might have to offer the vlogosphere. I mean, how many people like me are there in the world? Until someone says there are too many genderqueer, super 8 loving, child of lesbian parenting, returning student, ex smoking, running enthusiast, weirdo geeks in the vlogging world - well, I'm gonna try to post as much as possible and take up that space.
Hello - it's been a long time, but here's a quick fun clip - Rimma did the fabulous video taking - you can hear her saying "Just keep taking lots of pictures".
I haven't been in salt water for 15 years...Judith had the excellent idea of pouring warm water on our heads after we came out so that we a) warmed up and b) washed some of the salt out of our hair.
Now it's nap time.
happy new year!
